According to the interview with Michal Kopeček, Czech historian, conducted by P. Houda and published in the Česká pozice of Lidové noviny 14.4. 2018, The Communist Party of Czech and Moravia is a remnant of the past. It has really nothing new to offer, no vision of the future, it's members, as hardcore and loyal as they may be, are dying out, and new ones, looking for the antithesis of „liberalism” are flocking to other parties that offer the „protest vote” opportunity. Protest against the appointment of a communist MP Zdeněk Ondráček into the governing body, overseeing GIBS (police policing police) was more of a blowing steam against the prime minister A. Babiš and the recently re-elected president M. Zeman. Out of principle, not fear, however, we don't talk to commies. Howgh.
